CDC released the FY2025 ICD-10-CM with 252 new codes, 36 code deletions, and 13 code revisions making the cut, going into effect on October 1, 2024.

The neoplasm chapter contains codes for most benign and all malignant neoplasms.
Chapter 2 - Neoplasms leads the way this year in the quantity of new codes, receiving .63 new codes expanding cancer to include "in remission."

In the 2025 update of ICD-10-CM,
